Terms of purchase and sale including Rules of Order



The purpose of the rules of order in Skjærhalden Båtforening is to ensure a common understanding of the desired standard and order.
The rules must also safeguard the facility, so that it is not exposed to unnecessary wear and tear on piers and outriggers, and that guests and others are not exposed to unnecessary noise.

General provisions

• Everyone staying in the port area must follow the port office's instructions. Violation of the regulations may result in expulsion.

• Skjærhalden Båtforening is a family harbour. There will be a night tour from 11 p.m. Music from the boats, whatever the time, must not be so loud that it could disturb others.

• Boats moored in the guest harbor must be "inhabited". If you need a "parking space, contact the port office for instructions on a suitable space.

• Anchoring ban in the entire guest harbor due to mooring chains.

• Commercial activities and boat repairs are not permitted without special permission from the company.


Mooring:

• All boat owners must themselves ensure that moorings and fenders are adapted to weather conditions

• Skjærhalden Båtforening is not responsible for damage caused by wind or waves

• Vandalism, theft and the like are assumed to be taken care of by the boat owner and his insurance

• Boat owners must ensure that power cables, ropes and water hoses do not obstruct traffic on the wharves.

• Towing dinghies must be moored at the back of the boat and secured so that they do not block neighboring spaces.


Payment regulations and complaints:

• All prices are shown including VAT 0%.

• Payment method: Visa, MasterCard and Vipps.

• Receipt will be sent by e-mail and mobile after payment.

• All boats moored in the guest harbor must pay rent.

• Payment is made directly, even with pre-orders.

• Reservation fee is not refunded in case of cancellation. Cancellation < 48 hours before the booking starts is not refunded

• Reserved space cannot be transferred if you do not use the space yourself.

• The boat driver/owner is responsible for the rent being paid.

• The port rent must be paid at batplass.shbf.no

• Advance reservations are made at batplass.shbf.no

• Unpaid rent is charged with double port tax in administration supplement per day begun. The regulations are enforced under private law and the guest port has a right of retention in the boat until all costs have been paid.


Waste:

• Containers for residual waste have been placed behind Kornmagasinet (follow the signs on the wharves).

• We also refer to rules for waste disposal and waste on Hvaler municipality's website www.hvaler.kommune.no under "Services".


Electrical extension cords:

• Electric extension cords must be of a type that is permitted to be used outdoors.

• For boats that are connected to electricity at sea, an earth fault circuit breaker must be installed in the boat.


Use of electricity:

• Use of electricity where it is available in the guest harbour, charge is added.


Max speed in inner harbour:

• Maximum speed in the harbor area is 5 knots.

• Be considerate and avoid engine noise and exhaust.


Special provisions:

• Open fires and barbecues are not permitted in boats, wood or moored to the wharf or on the wharves.

• Diving must only take place by appointment.

• Dogs must be kept on a leash.

• Boats that are moored in violation of the harbor regulations can be removed at the owners expense and risk.

• All traffic on the wharves takes place at your own risk.

Orders or instructions given by the person responsible for the business must be followed!
